Data Deletion

We respect your right to delete your personal information from Prop AI. This page explains what data we delete, how to request deletion, and how long the process takes.

If you only want to disconnect a single social media account, such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or any other connected platform, without deleting your full Prop AI account, you can do that directly from your dashboard — no email required. See “Disconnecting a Single Account” below.

How to Request Full Data Deletion

Email us at [email protected] with:

  • The subject line: "Delete my data"
  • The email address associated with your Prop AI account
  • Your business name, so we can confirm we are deleting the right account
Response timeline We will respond within 5 business days to confirm we have received your request.
Deletion timeline We will complete the deletion within 30 days of confirmation.

You do not need to provide a reason for your request, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

What We Delete

When you request deletion, we permanently delete:

  • Your account information (name, email, business name, business details, contact info)
  • All brand voice documents, sample posts, and uploaded media you provided
  • All AI-generated content drafts and approved posts stored in your account
  • Vector embeddings of your brand content in our retrieval system
  • All access tokens for connected social media accounts (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and any others you have connected)
  • Logs, analytics, and usage data tied to your account

What May Be Retained

We may retain a limited subset of information after deletion where the law requires it or where it is necessary for legitimate business purposes:

  • Billing and tax records (typically retained for 7 years to comply with U.S. tax law)
  • Records needed to resolve open disputes or enforce our agreements
  • Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that no longer identify you
Anything retained is stored separately from your active account data and is not used to contact you or to provide the Service to anyone else.

Disconnecting a Single Social Media Account

If you want to disconnect one social account — for example, revoking Prop AI's access to your Instagram while keeping your Prop AI account active — you can do that directly from your dashboard:

  1. Sign in to your Prop AI dashboard at meetprop.com
  2. Open Settings → Connected Accounts
  3. Click "Disconnect" next to the account you want to remove
Disconnection deletes the access token we hold for that account immediately. Content already posted to your social account is not affected. We can no longer post to or read from that account after disconnection.

Confirmation

Once your full data deletion is complete, we will send a confirmation email to the address on file, or to a forwarding address if you have provided one. The confirmation will include:

  • The date deletion was completed
  • A summary of what was deleted
  • A note of any information that was retained, and the legal basis for retaining it
